Zemke and the Crew
Monty Forgot to Clock Off
When crew forget to check out at the end of the day
The problem in this strip
What happens when someone forgets to clock off? I find out days later that a timesheet says they worked till midnight, and then I'm fixing it by hand.
What ZimQi really does
If a site has shift times set, ZimQi sends a check-out reminder on Telegram about 30 to 45 minutes before the site's end time, for example '๐ Harbour St ends 15:30. Check out: /checkout 1 <what you did>', with a ๐ Check out button. If someone checks out late, they tap โฑ Earlier and type when they really finished, for example 15:30 or 3:30 pm.
ZimQi is now in early-access beta testing. Crew use Telegram.

Questions about this strip
When does the check-out reminder arrive?
About 30 to 45 minutes before the site's end time, and only if the site has shift times set.
What if someone checks out hours after they finished?
When ZimQi asks 'What time did you finish today?', they tap โฑ Earlier and type the real finish time, for example 15:30 or 3:30 pm (a plain 3:30 is read as morning). ZimQi then confirms it, for example 'โ Finish time saved: 3:30 pm (7h 35m).'
